The Greatest Salmon Burger Recipe on the Face of the Planet

In my opinion my mom is the greatest cook (really everyone would say there own mother is the greatest, so lets roll with it).  Here’s one of my favorites, salmon burgers.

Makes 6-8 salmon burgers.  That’s 112-150 calories per burger!



2 6-ounce pouches of salmon

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1/4 cup green pepper finely chopped

1/3 cup mayonaise

1/2 t garlic powder

1 T lemon juice

1 egg, beaten 2 eggs beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1/2 t lemon pepper

1/4 t seafood seasoning

Chopped parsely or tarragon




1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.  Form mixture into patties (makes about 6-8 burgers).



2. Saute in a pan with a little olive oil until golden brown.  Use a non-stick grill such as a George Foreman.  Easy to clean.  About 4-5 minutes per side.  I used a circle egg ring to make perfect patties, easy to flip.
